Well basically over here it is a different ethnicity,and by that I mean different traditions,history,and language.Also them being mixed blooded,they were treated differently so,at the time they saw themselves as different,they got fooled,but hey that’s the way the cookie crumbles.Even the Gullah/Geechee see themselves as different,with their own traditions and history.Also the haitian creole are the base for the Louisiana creole.This also served as a way to separate themselves from the new wave of African slave that came in.Stupid I know,but hey that’s the way it was.

Why everybody use the term creole as an ethnicity?? Maybe it’s a typical american term, because in france creole is a language spoken in the west indies, a mix of french and “african” language !!! Each island have its proper creole language (haitian creole, guyanese (it’s not an island lol) creole etc …)

Most black people from Africa are not mixed, but most African Americans are. They have an average of about 20% DNA from white people dating to slavery when white slave-owners had sex with black slaves. Some black Americans also have Native American heritage too. The are a lot of people from say, the Congo, or Nigeria, that are not mixed. Most East African blacks are though – usually with Arab blood.

I know for sure that I am black because unlike African Americans…Africans have stories about their family heritage..and we also have rock art from many generations back…all I had to do is go to my grandparents from both my mom and dad’s side of the family and they were able to tell me exactly where I come from…they don’t make it up…they also get it from their granparents and so on. African’s know their history…African Americans on the other hand can’t claim to be pure black!
