Anne Revere was an American actress. She won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for National Velvet (1944).

Anne was the daughter of Harriette/Harriet (Winn) and Clinton Tristin Revere, a stockbroker. She was married to theatre director Samuel Rosen, until his death.

Anne was said to be a direct descendant of Revolutionary War Patriot Paul Revere.

Anne’s paternal grandfather was named Logan Alexander Revere.

Anne’s paternal grandmother was Lucinda Jane Dustin (the daughter of William Dustin and Sarah Bentley). Lucinda was born in Illinois. William was the son of Moody Dustin and Lucinda Cowles.

Anne’s maternal grandfather was named Locklin/Laughlin Winn.
