Angelina is actually in my family tree on my mother’s side and her mother’s side (my 5th or 6th cousin…..something like that) anyway, she is related to the Pelletier’s (my family) who came over from France to Quebec. Our family mixed a lot with the Native Americans mainly the Huron. My Great great great grandma was 100%. To the person above, just because it didn’t show up in a DNA test doesn’t mean that she doesn’t have Native ancestry. Also to the person above, the Hurons are an Iroquoian speaking people but they are not “Iroquoian” if that makes sense.

“I have no problem with moving from place to place. Americans generally have little problem accepting this — after all, we all have mixed ancestry. My Dutch father has German and Czech blood flowing in his veins. My mother’s ancestors were the Iroquois Indians. Now you understand why I am the way I am. So don’t get too attached to a place — being together is the most important thing.”

Her Dutch father? Jon Voight is not a Dutch national. He was born in New York. Any Dutch ancestry she has comes from her mother, who is not Iroquois.
