Andrew Benintendi is an American professional baseball player. He is an outfielder for the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball.
Andrew is the son of Jill and Christopher Benintendi.
Andrew’s paternal grandfather was Robert Sebastian Benintendi (the son of Frank Benintendi and Nivia Pauline La Greco). Robert was born in New York, to Italian parents, his father in Catania, Sicily, and his mother also in Sicily.
Andrew’s maternal grandfather was Donald Howard Brookbank (the son of Frank Raymond “Ray” Brookbank and Rosa Lena Jones). Donald was born in Ohio. Frank was the son of Franklin Brookbank and Margaret Faul. Rosa was the daughter of Thomas Marshall Jones and Sarah Manda Thackston.

I think Andrew’s maternal grandmother was Doris Brookbank but I could be wrong.
Andrew Benintendi’s maternal grandparents are/were Donald Howard Brookbank (1934-2018) and Doris (Jones) Brookbank. Donald’s parents were Frank Raymond Brookbank (the son of Franklin Brookbank and Margaret Faul) and Rosa Lena Jones (the daughter of Thomas Marshall Jones and Sarah Manda Thackston. With that being noted I was wrong. I thought he was of German ancestry on his mother’s side, it appears mainly English ancestry if not entirely English. Frank was born around 1892-1893 in Catania, Sicilia, Italy and Nivia was born around 1905 also in Sicily, Italy.
