Emma was the daughter of Peter Wade, who was German, and of Anna, who was also born in Indiana, to parents from Germany.
Amy’s paternal grandmother was Jane/Jayne R. Walton (the daughter of William Walton and Margarette/Margarete/Margurete Wright). William was born in Indiana, to a father from England and a mother from Kentucky. Margarette was born in Indiana, to a father from Indiana and a mother from Indiana, whose own parents were Irish.

And according to 1930’s census, they were from Yugoslavia and spoke Ukrainian. Even the Jews from Ukraine don’t speak Ukrainina, but rather Russian, besides I don’t think we had many Ukrainian Jews in Yugoslavia, but we have tons of Ukrainians.

According to the 1940’s census, they were born in Austria. Misleading information…
BTW, I found the obituary of one of their daughters, Anna/Annie. Their full names were Joseph Kutchman and Pearl Dembitsky.
Most “Dembitsky” people hail from Ukraine and Russia, indeed.

Also Nicholas Zoretic’s father is Nick from Vivodina, Croatia, while his mother Helen appears to be Slovenian.

Hadn’t had a chance to take a look at the Seimetz page, but yes. Interesting last name, “Kutchman”.
I notice the Kutchman children mostly married people of (non-Jewish) Eastern European descent, which is a tell-tale sign (as opposed to, say, Jessica Biel’s ancestor, where none of his family did).
One of the Kutchman siblings was named “Mike” or “Michael”, which, for whatever reason, was also very rare among Eastern European Jews of the time (maybe even more rare than “Adam”).
2nd Ukrainian president was called Leonid Kuchma.
