Alexandra Bounxouei is a Laotian–Bulgarian singer, actress, and model. She is well-known in Southeast Asia. She has been NDP’s Goodwill Ambassador for Lao PDR since 2013.

She is the daughter of Jordana, who specialized in piano, and Bounthavisay Bounxouei, a music teacher/pedagogue. Her father is Laotian and her mother is Bulgarian. Her grandfather was a famous songwriter in Laos.

In 1988, her family moved to Vientiane, the capital of Laos. She also studied in Japan. She speaks Laotian, Bulgarian, English, Thai, and some degree of Russian and Japanese.
