Adam LaVorgna is an American actor. Beginning as a child actor, his roles include the 1990s films 29th Street, Monkey Trouble, Milk Money, The Beautician and the Beast, I’ll Be Home for Christmas, Outside Providence, and The Bumblebee Flies Anyway, as well as the shows Brooklyn Bridge and 7th Heaven and the mini-series Sinatra.

Adam is the son of Sandra and Joseph LaVorgna. His parents are pictured here.

Adam’s paternal grandfather was Joseph LaVorgna (the son of Pasquale Paul LaVorgna and Lucia/Lucy Manginelli). Joseph was born in Connecticut, to parents from Italy, with his father being from Faicchio, Benevento, Campania, and his mother having roots in San Salvator Telesino, Benevento, Campania. Pasquale was the son of Antonio LaVorgna and Carmosine/Carmelina SanGiovanni. Lucia was the daughter of Alexander Manginelli and Maria Louise Sansaro.

Adam’s paternal grandmother was Caroline Mary Sansone (the daughter of Criscenzo/Crescenzo Sansone and Mary/Mady Milano). Caroline was born in Connecticut, to parents from Italy.

Adam’s maternal grandfather was Carlton Henry “Red” Schnepf (the son of Heinrich/Henry Lewis Schnepf and Anna Marie Youngheim). Carlton was born in New York. Adam’s great-grandfather Henry was the son of Martin Schnepf and Pauline A. Kerbs, who were of German descent, with roots in Prussia. Anna was the daughter of John Edward Youngheim and Anna M., who were also of German origin.

Adam’s maternal grandmother was Mary Mariah Ellis (the daughter of Henry Edward Ellis, Jr. and Louise/Louisa Muriel Lacerra). Henry was the son of Henry Edward Ellis, who was born in Singleton, New South Wales, Australia, to English parents, and of Mary Byrnes, who was Irish. Louise was born in New York, to Italian parents, Felice Lacerra/Laccerra and Lucia Marchese. Lucia was born in Potenza, Basilicata.

    Paternal grandfather: Joseph LaVorgna (1913-1996), born and died in Connecticut, USA was the son of Pasquale LaVorgna (1876-1962) and Lucia Manginelli (1886-1932). Pasquale was born in Faicchio, Benevento, Campania, Italy. Lucia, who was also Italian, was the daughter of Alexander Manginelli (1863-1944) and Maria Louise Sansaro (1862-1932). Alexander and Maria were both born in Campania, Italy.
    Maternal grandmother’s mother Louise Muriel Lacerra (1900) and parents Felice Laccerra and Lucia Marchese (1867). Lucia was born specifically in Potenza, Basilicata, Italy.
